Last week there has been 43 fines including one person arrested, for not respecting the enclosure rules.
5 fines for being in communal areas of buildings and communities and 6 fines for gathering in places not permitted. This is a total of 155 fines and 3 arrests that the Local Police has lodged since the 14th of March when the alarm state was declared.
The Security Councillor, Francisco Arce, presents these data that update the ones published last week of the Local Police actions, controlling and informing the population to fulfil the state of alarm norms due to the coronavirus health crisis. Also he informs that the Military Emergency Unit (UME) was in Nerja on Saturday 11th April to reinforce the control tasks of the Local Police and Guardia Civil.
The councillor thanks the citizens for their patience and encourages everyone to continue complying with the norms so that this health situation will finish as soon as possible. Once again, his major gratitude to the Local Police, Civil Protection, Guardia Civil, Firemen and to all those who are doing a magnificent effort to cover our basic services. Special mention to the Town Hall Social Services for their great job helping those most in need.
