We advise that for next year, you make a direct debit so all the town taxes are paid through the bank. For this you just take your bank account number to the Nerja Tax Office
You should have received the voting card by post showing the school or the public building where you should deposit your vote and also the number or letter of the voting table (A, B...). Even if you have not received the postal voting card, if you are on the electoral roll, you will be able to vote.
Voting time will be from 09:00 in the morning until 20:00 in the evening. You must go with your passport together with your NIE or Residence Certificate. If you do not have your passport, you can also present your driving licence or Residence Card always that it has your photo.
You must vote only for one political party and put the list of that party you have chosen inside the voting envelope. You do not need to write or tic any names. You go to your corresponding voting table and after showing your identity document, you deposit the voting envelope inside the box.
Voting in the Local Elections is a right that foreigners have and we encourage you to vote.
